Burbank Pa Kua is offering an exciting roster of summer programs. Campers will spend time practicing and learning many different martial arts skills including archery, long sticks, and swords. These techniques will help campers develop focus, discipline, strength, coordination, and self confidence, all while having fun! We will also have games, obstacle courses, dodge ball, and some chill time too. In 2023, we are offering 3 different programs, each with a different theme. They are: Warrior Week, Ninja Week, and Battle week. You can find details and pricing below.

Zelda & Link Week (Warrior Week) , June 19th – 23rd and July 10th-14th, $330 (per week)
This camp combines Swords and Archery, just like your favorite Hyrule warrior. Learn the basics of sword combat and how to shot arrows! There will also be games and other camp activities. Spaces are limited so please make sure to reserve your spot today. All equipment provided.

FULL FOR 2023.Email info@burbankpakua.com to get on the waitlist.  Ninja Week, July 3rd-7th: $270 (Closed July 4th)

Become the shadow! Learn the many skills of a ninja including: staff, nunchaku, acrobatics, martial arts, and stealth. Develop skills such as awareness, coordination, and adaptability.

Battle Week, June 26th-30th:$350

Step into the shoes of your favorite heroes! This week is all about safe simulated combat both one on one and on teams. Think of it as a live action RPG. Battle Week is only recommended for campers who don’t mind the impact of a foam sword.  In Battle Week, campers will learn to  develop skills such as respect, teamwork, and communication.

Each camp is held from 8:45am-3pm and is available for kids ages 6-13. Classes take place indoors in our air conditioned studio, except Battle week in which we go to Griffith Manor Park. There will be healthy snacks and drinks, as well as a pizza party every Friday day of camp, provided by us. Campers should bring their own lunch, water bottle, and extra snacks just in case.

Master Mo WILLIAMS

Master Mo Williams was born in a small town in Washington State where he spent his days camping, hiking, and backpacking. After moving to Los Angeles, he discovered Pa Kua and it changed his life. He credits his practice with both his physical and mental successes. More than that, he found a home in World Pa Kua that gave him a purpose. Master Williams teaches both adults and kids. He holds a black belt in martial arts and is currently training for his second black belt in weapons. As the newest addition to the team, Master Williams hopes to give kids and adults a safe place where they can discover their true selves.

“You don’t have to feel stuck, you don’t have to let anxiety control your life. We all deserve to be treated with respect and to hold our heads up high. That’s what I want each of my students to understand.”
